Since I have not seen the new set in person, it's hard to say. Out of the historical dish sets we have, Felicity's is by far my favorite. I guess if they are retiring, I would get that set first. We will be getting Elizabeth's set for DD's b-day, so I will see for myself very soon! Did you like Elizabeth's tea dress? Felicity's is just beautiful!

I would much rather have the chocolate set first.
Felicity didn't drink tea, and both girls could enjoy chocolate!

I just got the chocolate set as a belated birthday gift, and I love, love, love it! I really like the wooden paddle that you use to *stir the chocolate*. Also, the plates and cups are so sweet. My DDs and their cousin were playing with the set and would alternate between serving chocolate and serving tea from the pot . A lovely time was had by all .

I love my chocolate set as well - I think the plates that come with it are beautiful and the pot is nice and heavy. If they are retiring it (boo hoo!) then my vote would be to get it first.

Ok, now that there's a possibility the chocolate set is retiring, I got it without delay. Now all I need is Addy's dish set to complete my dish collection. What are the chances that Addy's set will change? I love her copper pot but now I'm wondering if Mattel has any qualms about having to sell metal products.

I'm sure the smartest thing would be to get the chocolate set, see how the price of tea is surely to rise very shortly for felicity (hahaha) ok no seriously... I'd go chocolate now if they are retiring that way you won't miss out and start kicking yourself if you do not add it to your collection

All right, you've convinced me! I was debating buying this for a long time, because it's the only item in Felicity's current collection I didn't have after the Code days (except for Penny, but I don't need a horse ). I was going to get the Chocolate Set for Christmas because I do think it's expensive, but I don't want to risk it retiring before I get it. So I just ordered it with the club $10 off and the 10% code...nice big discount. I can't wait to see it now!
I also did get to see the new tea set at AGP at the Elizabeth premier, and although I didn't get to see it very close, I decided against it because it's pink. I was hoping they'd make a full set of the blue china pattern instead.

If you had to choose one set for Felicity and Elizabeth, would you choose the Chocolate Set or the new Tea Set with their associated Party Treats? I saw the new Tea Set and Party Treats when I was at AGPC. I can't decide between the two sets, but I think I like the old Party Treats best. My PS told me the Chocolate Set was being retired. The Chocolate Set and Party Treats were on display, but there were no pull tags for those items. What do you think?

I like Felicity's Chocolate set better. I don't "hate" the new tea set, but it seems a bit too pink to me.
